Join us for a community Knit-Along featuring the beloved Ranunculus Sweater—a versatile, beautifully simple design that’s perfect for knitters of all levels. Whether this is your first sweater or your fifth, this project is approachable, customizable, and even more enjoyable when knit alongside others.
For this KAL, we’ll be focusing on the short sleeve version—lightweight, airy, and ideal for the season. We’ve created curated kits using Isager Alpaca 1 and Isager Silk Mohair, resulting in a soft fabric with a delicate halo and beautiful drape.
🧶 What to Expect
We’ll gather for informal, supportive meet-ups at The Cocoon Coffee House at the Hawley Silk Mill, where you can get guidance, troubleshoot, and connect with fellow knitters.
Meet-Up Schedule:

Choosing your perfect size, reviewing and marking up the pattern, and casting on together.

Troubleshooting, fit questions, and support as you work through the yoke.

Additional troubleshooting, progress check-ins, and support.
Additional meet-ups will continue regularly on Saturdays—join as often as you’d like.
🧵 What You’ll Need
- A copy of the Ranunculus Sweater pattern by Midori Hirose (please purchase and print before the May 2 session). You can find the pattern on Ravelry.
- Yarn + needles (kits available in-store)
Kits Include:
Carefully paired Isager Alpaca 1 + Silk Mohair in coordinating colors, with enough yarn to complete up to pattern size 7.
